  • Administration
    • Accounting

      Supports the Members and our entire team, from sending Member statements, addressing their billing concerns, and processing payments to accounts payable and vendor support. Our department is close-knit and highly effective, supporting the full cycle of accounting operations for all other departments throughout the year and lending a hand with support in budgeting, purchasing, and other areas.

      IT

      Provides the backbone for the Club’s digital infrastructure. Our team has primary responsibility for user support across network, servers, desktop workstations, and mobile devices.

      MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

      Responsible for telling the Congressional story. Managing the brand and internal communications for the Club.

      Membership Services

      Supports potential candidates through the Membership process, starting with coordinating interviews with our Board of Governors and Admissions Committee Members, to hosting a welcome reception that includes a tour of the amenities. We’re also at the core of Member communications and information.

      Purchasing

      The Congressional team needs a wide variety of materials and services to create experiences for our Members. The Purchasing Department sources, orders, processes, stores, and delivers foodstuffs, paper goods, and many other items for departments across the Club. Work in the department ranges from important day-to-day tasks on the loading dock to strategic sourcing and management of vendor relationships.

    • Aquatics

      The Congressional aquatics facilities are both classic and state-of-the-art. We have three outdoor pools; A zero depth beach entrance wading pool with a gradual increase in depth to 1 1/2 feet. A 25 Meter Adult Pool for 18 & over Members designed for lap swimming, recreational walking and relaxed seating with hydrotherapy jets and an all age family oriented eight lane 25 Meter main pool capable of hosting swimming and diving championship meets as well as providing a shallow non swimmer area for introduction to the pool and teaching.  Inside, we have a 20 yard by 20 foot lap swimming tank open year round that provides the Members work out and recreational opportunities as well as teaching and coaching from aquatics professionals. We also have an indoor hot tub for relaxation. Our team of experienced and well trained swim professionals, coaches, lifeguards and teachers are welcoming, knowledgeable and available to provide exceptional experiences for the Congressional Members and their guests.

      Bowling

      Duckpin Bowling is the hidden gem of Congressional Country Club. We have 8 full sized bowling lanes with automatic pin setters, full bar and food service, and a multitude of programming for the membership to enjoy. We host four different leagues, Men’s, Ladies, Mixed, and Junior. In addition to league play, we host parties and a variety of different competitive and fun events for all to enjoy. Bowling at Congressional has a rich history at the club, with play dating back to the 1950’s.  Our team of attendants and mechanics are welcoming, knowledgeable, and available to provide exceptional experiences for the Congressional Members and their guests. If you are looking for a rewarding and fun community to be a part of, consider joining the bowling team at Congressional! 

      FITNESS

      We are looking for engaging Team Members that enjoy working in an energetic environment. Our passion is fitness, and we operate in a fun and cohesive environment. Our goal is to give every fitness member an amazing experience. We want to offer up-to date training techniques and classes that accommodate all fitness levels. The Fitness Front Desk Team Members need to be able to multitask and be computer savvy. You also must be able to communicate well with our Members while providing exceptional service.  We believe that we should always do our best to serve the Members, even if this means crossing job responsibilities. No job is too little or small!

      Golf

      Members of the Golf Team will be exposed to every area of the golf operation, fostering the core leadership skills necessary to succeed in future positions. We will develop a strong sense of Club Business Acumen, which will allow for expanded influence within our profession and beyond. As a result of this program: You will build relationships that last a lifetime, gain full self-confidence in your abilities, feel a strong sense of Pride and Belonging to the Club and our Team and strengthen your weaknesses, and self-awareness…and build on your strengths.

      Tennis

      The Racquet Sports Department of Congressional Country Club promotes multiple racquet sports. We are proud to say we have 21 Tennis Courts; 15 of which are outdoor and six permanent indoor. We also have 8 Paddle Courts and 4 permanent Pickleball courts. Our state of the art, 10,000 square foot facility allows us to promote a very enthusiastic and active sporting community who participate in multiple, on-going programs such as World Team Tennis, World Team Pickle Ball, Paddle Wars, Women's Tennis Associate, events and Club Championships. What makes Congressional Racquet Sports so successful is our positive culture with both Club Members and Team Members. We strive to promote a true sense of belonging to all who participate.As a member of the Congressional Racquet Sports Team, you are exposed to all levels of Teaching: managing tournaments, overseeing events, stringing, retail organization, Pickleball, Paddle Tennis and court maintenance. In order to ensure that Athletics maintains an exciting and cohesive unit, we meet weekly to build relationships within the various departments.  

  • Clubhouse
    • Engineering

      A small group of motivated and dedicated maintenance personnel, who seek to continuously develop their talents and skills. They are responsible for the overall operations of equipment & systems, general maintenance and facilities management of Congressional Country Club and all buildings on this expansive campus.

      Housekeeping

      A group of individuals that pride themselves on providing a clean and organized environment within our beautiful Clubhouse. This team focuses primarily on performing duties in the most efficient and effective way, so that our Members can feel a sense of pride when they visit or stay with in our overnight accommodations. It is an elastic operation comprised of up to 13 Team Members, a working supervisor and Director with cleaning duties scheduled throughout the day, seven days a week. Some areas of responsibility include our guest rooms, all Clubhouse common areas, Food & Beverage Operations, Fitness Center, Pool Areas, Tennis Clubhouse and other buildings.

      Guest Rooms & Front Desk Operations

      The Front Desk team strives to provide exceptional hospitality to both the membership and the employees of the Club. As a central hub of phone calls, reservations, and Club communication, the Front Desk operation is always staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Aside from regularly working side-by-side with our Housekeeping, Security and Engineering teams, they take reservations for not only for events and restaurants, but for our 21 sleeping rooms as well. The third floor of our clubhouse is a sleeping rooms destination for both our members and their sponsored guests. The Front Desk team is always willing to assist with any needs and collaborates regularly with the entire team to make the member and guest experience their home away from home.

      Youth Activities

      The Youth activities division (otherwise known as the Congo Kids) consists of both children and family programing throughout the entire year.  Social events for children ages 4 and up are offered at least twice a month, and include innovative concepts such as a Lego Bash, Mother Daughter Tea, Family Camp Out, Fall Festival and more! We also celebrate all holidays with our families, and over the winter months alone welcome Congo Kids for over 5 events including our magical Evening with Santa.  We are constantly developing the program to allow for the Club to be a fun and exciting destination for our children, with the goals of simply creating magic and memories.

      In addition to the events in the Youth program, we offer a summer camp called Camp Chicataw. The creative, passionate and energetic camp team is responsible for executing the program for 8 weeks of the summer, each week with a different theme to experience. The sessions include recreation such as tennis, swimming, and bowling and extra curricular's such as science, music, dance and crafts. In just the past five years we have seen an impressive increase of campers per session, and love having the Club be a summer destination of choice for both the Congo Kids and their parents! 

      Safety & Security

      Safety minded Team Members tasked with providing a safe and secure environment for the Club's Membership, Team Members and visiting guests.  Security is the only department that provides campus coverage 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. The department responds to a wide range of calls every day, from vehicle assistance to medical/first aid and transportation. Some of the training conducted by our Team Members consists of CPR/Defibrillator/allergy, Cart Safety, Evacuation and other seasonal/pertinent training,  which is brought to Team Members year round. The department works closely with the Fire Department and local law enforcement during tournaments, holidays, visits by notable guests and other large events, as well as county and state agencies in order to remain safety compliant.  

  • Food & Beverage
    • Consist of a first-class Culinary Team, Restaurants Team and Banquet & Catering Operations. There are three restauraunts that operate all year round. One for formal dining and special occasions, another a traditional steakhouse and the third is a pub and is for adults only. We also have three smaller venues that are open only during the season that is more casual and lite fare.

      We strive to provide the highest quality service to the Members and guests from the back of house to the front of house. We also host several events including weddings. We are responsible for creating an amazing experience for all that come to the club.

  • Green & Grounds
    • Golf Courses 

      If you enjoy early mornings, seeing the sunrise, and executing detail-oriented work, Congressional Golf Courses & Grounds will be a great fit for you. Congressional Country Club consists of two 18 hole golf courses, the Blue Course and Gold Course. The Golf Courses & Grounds Team works daily to achieve the best course conditions possible for the membership. During the golf season, the team is expected to mow all playing surfaces, rake bunkers, blow & clean up debris, change hole locations, and other tasks that may arise on a given day. When not setting up the golf courses, the team works to make continuous improvements by laying sod, installing drainage, fixing irrigation, and other various projects. The Club has an exciting future schedule of hosting major PGA Championships in which the team is expected to play a pivotal role. Our primary responsibility is ensuring that the golf courses are safe for play.

       Clubhouse Grounds 

      First impressions are crucial to member’s experiences at the Club. The Clubhouse Grounds Team takes great pride in providing the ultimate “wow” experience when members and their guests set foot on campus. Daily, leaves and debris are cleared, bushes pruned, flowers planted, floral arrangements installed, grass mowed and various other tasks completed. These tasks require an individual with passion for the job and an eye for the smallest detail. If you enjoy working outside, possess an interest in beautiful landscape, and thrive in a team environment, Congressional is a great place to kick start your career.  

      Equipment Maintenance 

      An individual who does not mind getting your hands dirty, enjoys fixing equipment and challenges yourself to problem solve is an excellent fit within the Equipment Maintenance Team. The Golf Courses and Grounds Team has a fleet of 65 utility golf carts, 27 large engine mowers, 63 small engine mowers, 6 tractors, various amounts of small tools (backpack blowers, weedeaters, etc), and other various maintenance equipment. The team is responsible for the upkeep and servicing of all the equipment routinely. Another important aspect of this team is making sure that all mowers are consistently sharp or being sharpened whenever necessary. Maintaining equipment at the highest level to produce the best product for the Golf Course and Grounds department is the everyday goal of the team.
